To be helping ye oldy and quainty fandom ficcer......
I was going share the details of my week - I mentally quit my job six times so it was quite an eventful one - but I refuse to spend one more minute thinking about the wretched place. Instead I turn to my lovely source for all things Harry Potter.

My book club is going to have a Harry Potter Special and I'm wondering if you could help me with the following. Please answer any and all that interests you -

1 - What inconsistencies have you found over the course of seven books?

2- Are there any questions JK left unanswered that really irked you?

3 - Were you satisfied with the ending?

4- Which book did you like most? The least? Any particular reason?

5 - Favorite/Least Favorite character from book one? By book seven did that change?

6- Which character death bothered you the most?

Thanks much ......

Yay! HP questions :D

1. I'm sure there are some but I'm not too sharp about that sort of thing. The one the irked me the most is that Werewolves reproduce through biting, so whats with Teddy actually being Remus's kid?

2.

3. OMG YES!!!! What the hell was that? It all wrapped up in a neat little package of normalicy. It did NOTHING to erradicate the good vs. evil dichotomy super imposed on the houses. Gryffindors are still the good ones and they get nice little hetero families. Slytherins are still evil, with a few exceptions. Even Albus starts to say that they must sort too early when Severus is heroic.

4. Book#3 was my favorite book. I really liked Rems teaching at Hogwarts and the potential that he has to end up with Severus. There is DE stuff going on in the background but they are not the main villans, its some how truer to the whole universe than book #4 which is my least favorite - it just seemed contrived.

5. Severus is my favorite character in book #1 (before movies and Rickman) and he is still my favorite in book #7. However I come to LOVE Luna in book #7. She is SO BADASS!!!

6. Severus and Remus died really anti-climactic deaths. ESPECIALLY Severus though. Its such a waste and you would think that being the kind of guy he is, he would go down fighting and not on his knees.

Me too. That's why I asked. :o)

I loved Luna too. She was consistent and I appreciated that.

How are you BTW?

I'm still irked that she didn't give Remus or Severus enough credit - there should have been more dueling at least...

Other than that, I can't complain :) The missus has a spiffy new job, the house is coming together and I start classes later this week. *knocks on wood to ward off drama* I am also learning to knit socks and do fan art so we'll see how that goes...

Sorry, for #3, I orginally read 'Were you dissapointed with the ending', hence the response. But I am SEVERELY disapointed with the ending.
